Registration 2010 – 2011

Registration is ongoing for classes that are not yet full. Please call the office 504-367-5144 if you are interested in registering your child for the 2010 – 2011 school year.

Announcements

All,

  • 8th Grade Graduation tonight at 7:00p.m. Teachers should meet in the lunchroom by 6:45pm. We will process in with the students.
  • Teacher’s, remember to get your book order’s in asap. I believe they were due last Friday. You still have time to get them in but do so quickly.
  • Math GLE’s do not have to be completed by this week. We will have time to finish them next week so do not rush to finish.
  • End of the year checklists will be in your box to complete before you leave for the summer.
  • Our meeting schedule next week will be as follows:

Tuesday, June 1

  • Faculty/Staff (everyone)…..9:00-10:30am
  • Department Meetings…..1:00-2:00pm

Wednesday, June 2

  • New Teachers/Marci…..9:00-3:00pm   -   New Moves with Christine Portier (all teachers are invited to attend)

Thursday, June 3

  • All Teachers…..9:00-12noon   -   An email will be sent out about the topic

Evaluations

Everyone will have a personal evaluation with me again this year. I would like to hold these evaluations next week on Tuesday (any open time), Wednesday and Friday (morning) next week. It will be up to each of you to schedule a time with me next week. Plan on about 15-20 minutes for the evaluation.

4th Quarter Report Cards

Please make sure all fees are paid in full – lunch, library, sports, tuition, aftercare, etc. Final report cards will not be released if your child owes fees incurred during the school year.

If you child does not attend school the last day, you can pick up their report card on Tuesday, June 1st from 9am – 2pm from the office. Report cards will not be available on Friday.


May 11, 2010

End of the School Year

The last day of school for our Kindergarten class is Friday, May 21, 2010. On this day the Kindergarten class will dismiss at 11:00am. Graduation will be held that evening at 7pm in the church.

The last full day of school for our 8th graders will be Thursday, May 20, 2010. Eighth graders will get specific instructions from Mrs. Smith as to their graduation practice and lunch scheduled for Friday, May 21, 2010. Graduation will be held Monday, May 24th at 7pm.

The last day of school for all remaining students is Friday, May 28, 2010. Dismissal will be at 11am.


PreK 3 & 4

The last day of school for our Pre-Kindergartners (both 3 and 4 year olds) is Thursday, May 13, 2010. On this day the Pre-K classes will dismiss at 12noon.
