It is hard to believe that this week is the mid point of our summer program.  Where has the time gone??  This week’s theme is “Over the Hill”.  Yeah that’s right “Over the Hill”, as in everything old, “the golden years”, fermented, ancient, aged… I think you get the idea!  We are going to have fun with this one!  Just wait and see!!  Just a reminder we will be closed Friday July 2^nd!  This is a short week but man what a BUSY, BUSY ONE!

Ok, here we are week 3; this week’s theme is Head OVER Heels!  Confused yet?  Well as you can guess we will have lots of topsy turvy fun activities for all our campers.  You may even say that the campers will be head OVER heels for camp this week.

Welcome to the second week of camp 2010!  This is the first week of our theme of “Over”, so our first weekly theme is “Roll Over”.  You know, like you would tell your dog to “Roll over”.  So this week we will be celebrating the “Long Dog days of Summer”.  We have some “cool doggie” things planed for our campers!  After all who doesn’t love a cold nose and a warm lick across the face???

Welcome to the first week of Salem Lutheran Summer Camp 2010!  Since this week is also our Vacation Bible School Week, all campers will go to V.B.S. from 9-12.  When V.B.S. is over all campers will go directly to summer camp.  We hope everyone has a wonderful week of fellowship and fun.

BE SURE AND EAT BREAKFAST AT HOME THIS WEEK SINCE WE WILL NOT HAVE MORNING SNACK!  BREAKFAST ITEMS WILL BE AVAILABLE STARTING NEXT WEEK! (more…)

We would like to welcome you to Salem’s Thirteenth annual SUMMER CAMP!

Times:

Camp hours are 9-3, with extended care from 7-6. Please make every effort to pick up your child by 6p.m. If for any reason you are late, a late fee of $1.00 per minute will be added to your bill.

Contacting Camp:

To contact Camp between the hours of 9-3, please call the school office at 367-5144, if there is no answer you may call the camp cell phone at 909-3214. The cell phone should only be called after attempting the office phone. The cell phone is for adult use only; please do not call to speak with your child on the cell phone. You may e-mail Ms. Lisa at lisa@salemls.org If you need to get a message to your child an adult will take the message and pass it on.

Dates:

Summer Camp is open from 6/07/2010 – 7/30/2010. Salem will be closed 7/2 for Independence Day. If you registered your child for the full 8-week session you do receive a discount in the weekly fees (please refer to your registration form for amounts). However please be aware that by registering for the full 8-week session you will be charged for all 8 weeks of camp. If your child were to miss one week of camp, we will consider it a vacation week and charge ½ price for that one-week.
